About PJ Spreading
PJ Spreading is a family owned and operated business located in the beautiful southern end of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Established by Paul Rudy in 2000, the company became the "go-to" name in the world of litter spreading in southeastern, PA, but eventually spanned out hundreds of miles in more than a dozen counties in 3 states. PJ Spreading became known for it's innovative equipment that not only allowed maximum effectiveness in spreading wood shavings and other litter, but the ability to take on even greater challenges like two story houses and other formidable undertakings.
After a decade of building a reputable name in the world of litter spreading, the demands of the job meant PJ Spreading had to expand. Paul Rudy hired his son-in-law, Quay Hanna, to work part-time and ease some of the load due to the large number of spreading requests. Soon after, PJ Spreading expanded again; this time hiring another son-in-law, Ryan Hair, to work full-time and take on the daily operation of the business.
The three of us now work together to provide high quality litter spreading to independent farmers and large corporate growers in PA, MD, and DE. No matter who the grower is, we recognize that we are entering someone's personal property and homestead. We want you to know that our family is coming to serve your family for the benefit of families around the country by contributing to the process of providing healthy, fresh, chicken.
